College Merit Scholarship Deadline Planner

A repeatable record of each college's own merit award: published criteria, separate research and submission status, and an ordered date list. Typing a note does not make a student eligible.

This page is for institutional awards a college publishes. It keeps one record per award, including two awards at the same college. Outside scholarships are a different search. Use the scholarship search plan for that weekly sprint, and the scholarship search article for how to run it. How merit and need-based aid differ on a list is in merit aid and need-based strategy.

Research status is what you have verified. Submission status is whether materials were sent. Those are separate. A blank criterion stays unknown. Choose Not applicable only when that item does not apply. A Confirmed academic status needs the published criterion. A known nomination rule or stacking rule is a finished fact. Put an open question in What is still uncertain. Enter a time and timezone only beside the deadline the source names. Leave them blank when the source does not state them. A blank time is not copied onto another deadline. Automatic consideration is not an automatic award.

These entries stay on this page only

A refresh or another page can clear what you typed. Copy the record before you leave. This page does not save family financial information.

Partial awards are included. A blank fact is copied as not entered. The date list uses the calendar date you entered.
